Hi I have a 1966 Mustang convert here is some information about the car. Engine It is not original to the car as it was a 6 cylinder car from the factory. I was told it is a 302 or 289. 1 thing about the engine it has plenty of power and sounds great will need exhaust work. It does not smoke the carburetor has been rebuilt,also a new starter. Transmission It is a c4 trans and it shifts great Thur all the gears. Brakes The car has had brake work done by a mechanic. The car has a new master cylinder and brake pads, and wheel cylinders have all been check and replaced as needed. So the car has been completely gone Thur on the brakes no issues. Interior The interior is old the drivers seat needs repair as it does go back to far. The seats are old and will need redone at some point. The carpet is in good shape,door panels are showing there wear easy to replace. It will need visors as it does not have any. The brackets are there so you will just have to ordered them. Dash is in great shape no cracks also has a new bezel.As the rest of the interior it is in average condition. Exterior The quarters have been replaced they did a okay job. The fenders are very solid, the hood has some issues but keep in mind everything is primer. But the panels seem to be very solid. Glass All the glass is in good condition the windshield has no cracks. The windows roll up and down every once in awhile they will stick and need attention. Tires The wheels are not original and are missing the center caps but really add allot to the car. And also the wheels have been switch to a 5 lug instead of the 4 lug big plus there. Tires are in great shape. Underside There has been allot of patch repair done to the car hope you can tell by the pictures? It was not done professionally for sure, and will need allot more work to make it really nice. It was all repaired and undercoated by the previous owner. I just do not have the money or time to re do it. So look at the pictures and ask questions Topp It has no top, bows are are all there and are in great shape. The top is manuel not a power top, but goes up and down very smooth,and also locks in to place. The car is set at a low reserve so you will have room to make repairs. This car could be a daily as it does run and drive, have not driven the car on the highway but seems to handle just fine.The car comes with a clear Colorado title so no problems there.
