You are looking at a one owner 1983 mercedes 300td wagon that has been taken care of. It was owned by a snowbird, and an elderly gentleman, so that is the reason for the low milage. When I bought the car it had been sitting for a while so I had to go through everything. The air is ice cold and everything now works. the interior is excellent except for normal fading on the carpet in the cargo area, which can be dyed. It does not have the third row seat, but I have one in a parts car if you need it that I will sell. The car was painted in 1997 and all I did was to touch up those places that needed it. It does have the rare bars on the luggage rack. It is a beatiful wagon and runs absolutly great. Quite for a diesel. Look at the pictures, they tell the story. thanks for looking.On Mar-26-11 at 04:20:12 PDT, seller added the following information: yesturday I inspected the car well, which I thought I had done before, but there is several things I had missed. There is rust at the bottom of the pasenger side doors at the bottom near the door panels on the inside. To fix this will cost arround 500 to 600. the rear passenger window now does not work for some reason. the shocks on the rear is bouncy, but the hydralics is working. I figure to make everything nice could cost 1000 so therefore I am lowering the reserve to compensate for these repairs. I thought of taking it off the auction and repair everything, but I decided to just discount it. If you do not like it, you do not have to take it. I do not want to down grade it to much, because it is a beautiful low milage wagon.
