If you follow my auctions you know I have been selling used ATV's on eBay for over 10 years and try to find nice used machines to list weekly. This week I found what is generally regarded as the most reliable ATV of all time (and the one that Honda got their reputation for durability on) the legendary Honda Fourtrax 300 4x4. Even though I am a huge Polaris fan, I must admit that the 300 Fourtrax is one of the best "all around" machines of all time. Extremely peppy engine that scoots the ATV down the trail as quick as most 500's and it is very nimble handling and sporty. A blast to ride! Far simpler (and more reliable than the new breed of Honda's with their electrical gremlins) than most of the present day ATV's and in turn it is a machine that can be maintained by an average guy and will last virtually forever. These are like the Toyota Tacoma truck of the ATV market. More than enough machine to do most any job but it is far easier to live with long term than most of the "big bore" machines. Anyone in the family can hop on and ride and you can throw it across the front of a pickup bed and still have room in the back for a gooseneck trailer. The ultimate, farm, camping or trail riding machine and in this price bracket they are near impossible to find. This one has just been serviced and is ready to ride-very nice.
