Up for auction is a 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback with a Fuel Injected 5.0 (302) and a 5 speed manual transmission. The car has a POSI rear end with 3:23 gears, dual exhaust, and she runs GREAT!! The car starts right up, no knocking, no smoking, and she is sealed up nice and tight with no visible leaks! The car was originally a California car, and is nearly RUST FREE. She has a few small bubbles in lower quarters that are very small, and a couple small bubbles in the normal places. The car is very straight and does not show any signs of ever being in an accident. All the gauges work, all the lights work, and she is very, very fast with an endless throttle!! The conversion was done right start to finish, and the motor/ trans is from a 1987 Mustang GT. She is a great car, and ready to be driven anywhere!! The car will speak for itself, and if you drive it you will WANT IT! ENGINE/ TRANS: The motor is a fuel injected 5.0, or 302 from a 87 Mustang GT. The motor has around 10,000 miles on her since she was rebuilt a few years back. She fires right up, and is ready to go. The car runs nice and cool here in Vegas with no problems at all. The motor doesn't leak any fluids, and she has power brakes also. The car does not have A/C but, Vintage air has a complete kit for about $1,000 dollars that will bolt in. The transmission is a 5 speed manual trans that is sealed up tight and shifts beautifully. The trans has a short throw shifter that works great and all the synchros are in great shape, you can down shift anytime. The clutch is only a few months old and it is a Centerforce clutch kit. The rear end has 3:23 gears and it has a POSI. INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR: The interior is in pretty good condition overall. The door panels are good, the windows roll up and down correctly, and the dash is in good shape. The headliner is torn, and the front seats have some tears in them also. The dash pad has one small crack in it also. The rear seats look really good overall. The carpet is good, all the lights work on the car inside and out. The radio is not hooked up at this time, just filling the hole for now. The rear sail panels, which are cardboard are showing there age and could be replaced to make her look better but, overall the inside is very clean and just needs some freshing up. The exterior is very straight overall and the chrome is in good condition around the car. There are a few small rust bubbles in the normal places. The paint is several years old on the car, and the clear coat is wearing thin in a few spots also. The car doesn't show any signs of an accident and a magnet will stick to the car all over. Just needs a nice coat of paint, and very little body work as there are no big dents any where on the car. You could paint this car all black as the body is that nice. The tires have about 50% tread left on them with some sun cracks, as you would expect here in Vegas. The glass is good all the way around the car also. The trunk is in great shape with no rust issues. Just a very nice car, and at a great price. INFO: The car is a DAILY DRIVER TYPE CAR!!!. The car is NOT perfect by any means but it’s 41 years old also. Please know this before bidding.
