I am selling my 1992 Nissan Sentra se-r. This car runs great. This car is more fun than any other car I have driven, but I needed more room to haul stuff. The car is available for inspection (at your expense) and test drives in New Rochelle, NY which is easily accessible on Metro North RR or subway/bus. The best things about this car are that the engine runs great, the transmission shifts smooth, clutch feels good (it was replaced by previous owner) and it generally handles and drives great. I am the second owner of this car. It is a stock classic se-r that has never been modded or raced. It was my daily driver, and used for weekend trips. It has a Thule roof rack (attachments for bikes ect are NOT included in this sale). It also has a trailer hitch with ball and all wiring, and could be used with a LIGHT trailer. I have a small boat trailer that could be sold separately if you're interested. There is a dealer installed pop-up moonroof. I replaced the exhaust at some point, but it is not loud or obnoxious at all. There is an adapter present for the Nisscan Consult port, allowing you to connect a laptop (with a serial port, db-9 connecter) to monitor engine performance. The guage faces were replaced with white indiglo gauges (no bulbs to burn out). All speakers were replaced (with infinity, iirc) and there is a Kenwood Excelon stereo with aux input and cd player (it plays mp3 cd's too). Tweeters and crossovers are mounted on the front doors. An amplifier/subwoofer are NOT included, but all stereo wiring is in place to add your own. (Stereo will not play until you add an amp, or re-wire it to work without one). The wheels are Kocei K1 which are lighter and wider than the stock wheels. I will include the stock wheels if you want them. These are the issue that I know of: There is some headliner sag around the moonroof (but I've never seen an actual leak). Some rust in front of the driver-side door (see photos). Some paint issues on the doors (around the windows). Stains on the passenger seat (can probably be cleaned). The passenger-side air vent is damaged. The car will still look good with a wax job. Finally, I think there is a small oil leak. I don't see a drip or notice any lost oil, but I can smell it. A mechanic said maybe the main seal needs to be replaced. It's possible that heavier oil or additives would alleviate the problem - but I have not tried those things, and I have no desire to hide the issue. The car is totally drivable as-is, but please consider this potential issue, or have it checked by a mechanic. I have done my best to describe this vehilcle fully and accurately, but I am not a mechanic, and these are only my observations and opinions. The vehicle is offered for sale as-is with no warranty. On Mar-23-11 at 09:06:51 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: There is a small pea size crack in the windshield - driver's side. It has been there for many years without getting any larger. Also, there is a pull to the right while driving - probably needs an alignment.
