Vehicle Detail
IMMPECABLE 1969 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE! 1969 was the pinnacle year for the Ford Mustang! This particular Mustang is in outstanding condition and happens to be a beautiful example of attractive convertible released that model year. It has many GT attributes although it retains most of its original equipment. Displayed in a beautiful custom shade of Royal/ Acapulco Blue the pony is a certified traffic stopper {with the top up or down}! The previous owner spent about a years time to select and create this exact color. It is truly unique and hard to capture in its true essence or truly appreciate without seeing it in person. It has only had one repaint throughout its entire life span. The over all fit & finish is extremely nice! The paint is very shinny & with little to no texture. You’ll have no problem being proud of it at the local car shows. Born in Tennessee and delivered to district 63 {Memphis DSO} this classic comes with a solid original underbody. No patch work, no under coating….no worries! Absolutely no rust or rot issues/ RARE/ROCK SOLID! The body panels are very straight & the doors shut tight. The windows are nice & the windshield is in great shape with no chips/cracks present. The dash pad is in wonderful condition as well. This Mustang has its own flare & carries a few 69 pony upgrades. The Mach 1 style hood scoop with integrated turn signals helps provide true Muscle car flavor & the aggressive looking Shelby side scoops add just the right touch! COMPLIMENTS ARE EVER PRESENT! The GT hood pins, side stripes & GT pop open gas cap also bring back memories of yester year. The original 2B code {Light Blue Kiwi} interior with deluxe appointments is simply stunning! The wood grain elements actually prove to be in wonderful condition…. Rim Blow steering wheel option {horn non functional}. Almost all of the interior components have been replaced. The original correct color bright white power canvas top is spank brand new! I replaced soft top with the best high grade vinyl one on the market {no wrinkles or excessive wind noise/perfect fit}. I had the convertible top fluid reservoir was filled at the time that the top was replaced {located behind the back seat]. Many enthusiasts seem to neglect addressing this tedious job when replacing the convertible top {either intentionally or out of ignorance….hence many convertible top motors need replacing}. No worries here ….the potential new owner will not have to face that chore again for many years to come. The factory [F-Code 302] Motor and original [C-4 Cruise-O-Matic] Transmission are both the original equipment. This 302 block was freshened up around 2001. It has plenty of torque & runs better than any 302/351 that I have ever owned! They are in excellent working condition and this classic is more than road worthy! The compression ratio value stands correct & transmission engages as it should. I personally drove it 150 continuous miles a few weeks ago & she did not miss a beat! This Mustang has had a host of engine parts replaced recently. The battery, starter, alternator, plugs, wires, water pump, thermostat, belts, hoses being just a few. Very reliable….Fly in/drive back? Authentic yet brand new 15x8 inch Magnum 500 wheels {no 14 inch wheels here} and spank brand new wide track BFG raised white letter performance radials provide good handling & give this pony an extra aggressive look! Dual Exhaust with two chamber performance mufflers are the order of the day. This Mustang has a nostalgic muscle car growl! Working side markers, head lights, high beams, blinkers, wipers, dash illumination and other lights function as they should. This 69 Ford also has nice chrome and superb exterior moldings throughout. Power steering, power top, power disc brakes & AM/FM radio makes cruising a pleasure! There is a CD disc changer installed in the trunk {stock appearance/modern technology}. You may find a few nice 1969 Mustang Convertibles, however you won’t find many like this. What you have here basically is a solid classic car that is ready to roll. Everything has either been refurbished or replaced. Garaged and covered {car cover included}. This gorgeous brilliant blue 69 convertible is ready to be enjoyed. You can’t take this pony out of the stable/ garage without being questioned....you’ve been warned! Too many good things to say about this one and not enough time to say it. At the end of the day I am sure that the new potential owner will be more than pleased with this classic convertible. NO SURPRISES! This classic vehicle will not be given away …I have seen some of the other so called restored classic Mustangs on the market & many of them pale in comparison to this particular Mustang. This is a true must see to appreciate vehicle in every sense of the word! If you are looking for a true stand up rock solid investment then this is the Mustang for you. ALL INSPECTIONS WELCOME.
