Always wanted that 40k 56 chevy hardtop? Well here it is at less than half the price, you just finish putting it together. Great project but not for the faint at heart. This 56 spent its life in Nevada, there was a small amount of rust, which has been professionally replaced ie; lower quarters, rockers, rt side front floor, spare tire well. All done with replacement parts from Classic Reproductions. The engine is a 1970 LS6-454. 13:1 compression. It has a solid lifter comp cam .520 lift with roller rockers. TRW pistons, steel 10/10 ballanced crank. L88 polished aluminum rectangle port heads, Pete Jackson gear drive, Stan's custom headers, coated inside and out, 3 inch collectors, Milodon 6 qt oil pan with pick up, Polished M/T valve covers, high torque starter. Should produce approx 525 HP. This engine has no hours on it and all parts are NEW. The standard trans was replaced with a 400 turbo all new, never ran. From Wilson's Racing here in OKC. It is a street/strip app. with a 3500 stall. never filled with fluid. The rear end was built by Currie in Southern Cal. It is a 9 in ford nodular 373 posi with mosier axels and disc brakes. It has never been ran or had oil in it. Stopping power provided by four wheel disc brakes, dual master cylinder with a 7in power booster, again all new never ran. not completely plumbed but have all lines. All new bushings, bearings. seals. tie rod ends,upper and lower ball joints, new drag link kit. The body is black base coat / clear coat and the paint needs finishing, the hood and rt. fender are in primer, the left fender needs minor work (no rust). I have a load of parts that were taken off the car before the restoration was started. No front bumper, rear bumper needs rechromed. No side moldings. No front wind shield no door panels. In short I have about 90% of the parts needed including new EZ wiring kit. The stainless window moldings are in great shape. Have front and rear seats, needing re upolstering. un cut dash, inner fender panels, radiator support. New BF Goodrich tires and new American racing wheels, New shocks , New dash pod with black old tyme gauges. all new weather stripping, new gas tank and sending unit. and the list goes on. will sell less engine and trans. for $9,000 I will answer any questions you may have. contact me anytime via ebay.
