1973 Jeep Commando This jeep was literally taken off the farm about 10 years ago. It had light rust all over the body, was very dirty and had all the typical items (bailing wire, fencing pliers, feed, etc.) you would find in a farm vehicle. I took it home and began cleaning and restoring the Jeep. This vehicle is clean and rust free. The paint is about 8 years old and is in pretty good condition. It has the typical small scratches from being parked in the garage next to the family car. The seats, door panels, dash and headliner were replaced right after It was painted. The 304V8 engine was rebuilt in 2004 and has less than 5000 miles on it. The 4WD does work. My goal was to restore the jeep as close to original as possible. It’s not a show vehicle but it is a fun vehicle to drive and commands lots of looks when driving it. I have driven it daily when the weather permits. It has been garage kept since its restoration. I have a tow bar that will go with the Jeep. It tows very easily behind a truck or motor home.
