1957 Oldsmobile 88 four door hard top. This car has been garaged since 1982 and I figured it was time to get it out. After pulling it out of the garage this past December, I put on new brakes all arounds, 4 P215/70R15 BFG 2 1/2" white walls ($932.70 Coker Tire Company), 4 15X7 Supreme Series wheels ($572.75 Summit), oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, exhaust flange gaskets, valve covers, rotor, cap, plugs, and wires. After picking all this up and doing some fluid swaps, I had the card running!! I cruised around in it for a few weeks without much trouble but this did not last long. The car will not start anymore and I have no idea why. The interior cloth and weatherstripping is shot. The headliner and dash are all real nice. This was going to be a local cruiser for the wife however she is not able to drive much anymore. This car originaly came from a Denver, CO. dealership and has been in Colorado ever since. I don't know too much more will can try to answer any questions. Could be a real fun project car for someone a little more mechanicaly minded than I. The body is nice!! Just a few scrapes anong one side. The rust issues look to be concenetrated on the rear bumper.
