I am selling my beautifully restored 1968 chevy camaro convertible. I bought the car a few years back from the brother of the original owner. Car has been in the Florida panhandle since it was purchased in Pensacola Florida in 1968. The car originally was blue with blue interior but in 1992 it was painted red and interior was changed to black. In 2009 the car was soda blasted, stripped, reprimed, sanded and painted a georgous viper red, All panels were removed for the painting/resortation process. The frontend was totally disassembled to insure a quality job. At that time the OEM 327 V-8 was rebuilt .30 over and the crank was turned .10 over. An edelbrock preformance series intake was added and a edelbrock 1406 carb was installed, along with a HEI ignition system. The floor pans were repalced at unknow time but are solid and need no reconditioning. No rust on the frame rails or rocker panels were found. Hot Chicks frame connectors have been installedand the car has been 3m undercoated. I have pictures from the restoration and will email them to any serious buyer. The car has a NEW cloth convertible top ( E-Z on brand ) and the top is power. A set of NEW Foose 17inch wheels and new tires were put on the car during this restoration. Also added was a new alluminum radiator for better cooling. I changed out the original powerglide to a turbo 350 but I still have the powerglide and will be included with the sale as will any and all things I have collected for the car. This camaro is extremely nice and will sure win or place very high at local car shows. Currently the car has no radio and the heater core has been bypassed. The only mentionable options are power steering and power convertible top. 90% new chrome has been added for that shine. Yes I know that the lower trim is for a 1967 but I like it better than what was offered in 1968. The seats and door panels are near perfect, the carpet is starting to fade but its still very showable. Car is garage kept at my house in Fort Walton Beach Florida. I will be happy to assist a shipping company if requested. I want to sell this car but I will not give it away. Its possible for me to deliver within reason and for fuel. Obviously the car will NOT leave my garage until its paid for full. I do have the Florida title in my possession.
