Vehicle Detail
1961 Ford F-100 This Truck was recently restored to excellent condition. This included painting the interior cab and dash. It turns heads wherever I drive. I bought this truck from my neighbor, the original owner, who bought it from Burke-Hudelson Ford dealership, Nampa, Idaho where he worked in 1961. The body is straight with no dents, or any problems of that sort. It is a 2-tone resembling the original Ford utilizing Scarlet Red with a 53 Chevy Ivory off white accent. Some body customization includes things such as some body lines filled in along the cab and the back of the box by welding (see pics). Also installed a 1962 Ford top 1/3 of the grill with the chrome FORD letters, instead of the blank one that was on before. The front of the Truck has been lowered 4 1/2 inches. There are currently no side mirrors. I still have the original headliner, but it is warped and torn. It could serve as a template to make a replica. The original bench seat is in fair condition, with a simple seat cover on it for now. The engine was Rebuilt within the last 2000 miles or so. It is a 223 I6 Mile-maker, original engine. Odometer reads 87k. The Carburetor was rebuilt, within the last 5 miles. It is a single barrel Holley carb, original. There are 2 alloy rims on the back, and 2 steels on the front. I have two matching alloys with the newer ford 5 bolt pattern in the event that someone wants to put in a more modern rear end with the current Ford 5 bolt pattern. The tires have excellent tread depth, plenty of miles on them. I can throw in some extra wheels and tires too. The front 1/3 of the bed has been Reinforced by 1/4" plate and welded in place. It is a 4 Speed manual stick, with a granny first gear. The Granny gear is ideal for parades, because you don't have to ride the clutch, it will just crawl along. This Truck has been featured in a local parade. Here's the stuff you may get to work on: - the windshield has a vertical crack along the driver's side up the window, but it is not in the direct line of site for driving. The floor-board on the driver's side does need to be patch welded, as I cut out the section that had rust. This would be a quick welding job, but in the meantime, I have placed a temporary metal sheet over the opening. New floor covering would be the next step. STARTING WITH LOW PRICE AND LOW RESERVE. I KNOW IT'S WORTH MORE THAN MY RESERVE, BUT I WANT SOMEONE TO ENJOY THIS INSTEAD OF ME LOOKING AT IT IN MY YARD. ONLY SO MANY VEHICLES I CAN INSURE AND REGISTER. $500 DEPOSIT DUE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF END OF AUCTION TO SECURE THE SALE. ITEM MUST BE PAID FOR IN FULL IN 7 DAYS BY PAYPAL, CASHIERS OR CERTIFIED CHECK. CASH IS ACCEPTABLE IF PICKING UP IN PERSON. SHIPPING IS BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY AND ARRANGE. SELLER WILL ASSIST WITH LOGISTICS AS ABLE.More pictures available by email upon request.Thank you.
