1989 Honda

Up for auction is a near new and as good as it gets 1989 Honda Transalp XL600V dual sport. This bike was purchased by the original retired owner in 1990 (new) as it states on the pink slip that is in my hand and keys in my pocket, who used this bike once in a while to just to putt around town. This bike has sat in that garage all its life. As you can see in the pictures how great it is and it’s well cared for. Remember this is a used bike. There is a small pin hole in the seat as you can see in the picture. There is also a hair line crack on the fairing there is also a picture of this its hard to see but its there just to let you know. You might need to tighten a bolt or two. Or a hose clamp as this bike is water cooled and has been sitting in the garage for the last two years. The carbs have been cleaned. The battery is charged and ready to go. And it has fresh synthetic oil with only maybe 40 miles on it, if that. The lights work front and back high and low beam, stop light. The left and right turn signals work. the speedometer works as this is the true mileage of this bike and the RPM works also just as fine the heat temperature gauge works perfect and the kickstand light indicator stays on when the kickstand is down and when the kickstand is up it goes off as it should. I replaced the rear tire. I have the front tire but have not put it on yet. It will go with the bike. So that makes the bike complete and ready to go anywhere. And I mean anywhere!!!! On a scale from 1-10 this bike is definitely a 10. Amazing condition! I tried to describe the bike as best as I can and take the best pictures I could so you can see the words that I write are true. The bike starts at the push of a button with no hesitations. And the bike runs like a dream, and shifts like a dream all day long. This bike runs excellent. I have the pink slip in hand. The bike is currently registered and insured as it should be in the state of CA. As I am a law abiding citizen. This bike is gorgeous. It’s killing me to list this bike but I have to do what I have to do. I know I will never find another bike in this amazing condition. If it doesn’t sell at the price it’s listed, Im more than happy to keep it. These bikes are hard to come by; it attracts attention everywhere I take it.
