Vehicle Detail

THIS A CASH ONLY AUCTION. BALANCE IS DUE IN FULL WHEN YOU PICK UP. NO EXCEPTIONS. I CANNOT SHIP. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU CANNOT COMMIT TO THESE TERMS. Emails asking "What is your reserve?" and other questions that are obvious in the descriptions will be ignored. Sorry, but I will not answer 30 emails about what year, engine, or color the vehicle is, when the pics and description tell most. I will answer emails with concerns or questions not included in description that follows. Thank you and good luck. Nice M715 for sale. Original engine/transmission. Runs and drives but needs a little work to make road worthy. Comes with some parts: gaskets, new weatherstripping, taillights, horn button, some wiring, owners/parts manuals, temporary racks, fuel can, etc. Mileage is unknown since speedometer was replaced by previous owner. Period memorabilia included: helmet, belts, suspenders, phone, ammo carriers, canteen, utensil set, ammo boxes, authentic field books for warfare, boobytraps etc. This jeep is in nice shape but will need to be further restored. Tires are original and are not in great shape. Windshield is cracked and body has some dings but nothing major. Some rust in door rails and under seats but not terrible. Back brakes recently re-worked, new muffler. Needs: Tires, windshield, wiper arms/blades, troop seats, canvas top and cargo canvas, tools, correct seats, and some other cosmetics. This would be an easy restoration for someone. Wanted to do it myself but ran out of time and money. Wouldn't take much money to make a road worthy daily driver but you could go body off restoration like the last four pictures. This vehicle does not have a title yet. You will have to check with your local DMV to find out what you will need to get the truck titled. It can be done easily but varies state to state. I have included 4 pictures of a restored m715 that I was going to try to duplicate. M-715 Kaiser Jeep 5/4 Truck The Kaiser Jeep M-715 "five quarter" truck was built for the U.S. military based on the civilian Jeep Gladiator. The M-715 was the first attempt by the U.S. military to buy commercial, off-the-shelf (COTS) based vehicles instead of fully specialized military designs. The M-715 family saw service in Vietnam, but was considered underpowered and fragile when compared to purpose-built tactical trucks like the Dodge M-37 it was intended to replace.
