Vehicle Detail

false false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 For sale is my pride and joy, a 1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4. I purchased this car in the summer of 2005. When I bought it, it had 67000 miles. I have put very few miles on it and have always kept it in the garage. Unfortunately, I’m going back to school and won’t have a garage. I won’t keep it outside, so I’ve decided to sell it. It drives like a dream and gets many looks. I love the way it handles and the way it sounds! It is used and shows some signs of wear, here and there. The interior is really in great condition. Please see the pictures. If you would like pictures of anything specific, please ask. I have tried to include any damages in the pictures. The car is sold as is with no warranty. Note: This item was ended early because of some errors in the listing. I could not edit these while the item was active. Thank you for your understanding. I have done the following to the car: K&N FIPK (it is well known that 3000GT VR-4s have a rather restrictive intake) New transmission seals All new struts 60k mile tune-up + water pump (just in case) done at the dealership Ziebart underbody coating EBC slotted / dimpled rotors with EBC redstuff brake-pads. They look GREAT on the car. (NOT drilled all the way through, that can lead to cracking) Optima red-top battery Moda R6 rims Fuzion ZRI tires New weather stripping around the doors Mobil 1 Synthetic Every Season (I never put many miles on it, but changed it anyway) Things you should know about the car: 1st gear occasionally grinds (maybe 1/30 shifts). It otherwise shifts beautifully. One time, I did feel a grind when switching into 5th. The master mechanic at Mitsubishi (local) commented on how beautifully it shifts. Dent on drivers side near the front (see the pictures) Paint on the bottom of the front bumper is peeling (see the pictures) Driver’s seat has the usual 3000GT wear (see the pictures) ODB2 code P1105 (check engine light is on), but the car runs fine. The code refers to the fuel pressure solenoid. This problem is very common if you lurk forums but the car runs just fine. Other Information A $1500 non-refundable deposit is expected within two days of the auction close. The rest of the payment should be certified funds (wire transfer, cashier’s check, etc) The buyer is responsible for shipping or pickup. On Mar-02-11 at 14:36:13 PST, seller added the following information: EDIT: I had a question about the clutch. It has an ACT Stage 2 clutch that was put in professionally about 2000 miles ago. The flywheel and TOB were also changed.
