I'm selling my 1988 Jeep Comanche Pioneer. This truck would run at about 23 mpg but would suddenly lose power. Sometimes it would get it back and drive just fine for a few weeks and then do the same thing again. It has set up since 2008 when I went back to Iraq. The oil pan leaks and needs a new gasket. It has some dents on the passenger side and the trim on around the passenger side wheel wells needs fixing. The body otherwise is in good shape with no rust through it. The prior owner did let the truck roll down a hill and it damaged the hood and passenger side front fender and the the tree it grazed scratched up the metal along the passenger side front wind shield. The 4X4 went out right before I parked it. I used the 4X4 a couple of times just fine and suddenly it wouldn't engage. The AC wasn't working on it but the heater was. So if you need a parts truck for your Jeep Pioneer then this may be what you're looking for. There are no cracks in any of the glass. I replaced the front windshield in 2007. I've been back and forth to Iraq and Afghanistan and along with my job have too many projects to boot so am letting this truck go. Any questions you can call me at (931) 206-5165. On Mar-03-11 at 11:41:49 PST, seller added the following information: To all watchers: Today, (03 March 2011) - I put a battery from my other Jeep on this to see if it would turn over fine. Result: The engine is free and will turn over. I then took some starter fluid to see if it would start. Result: It will start on starter fluid and then die. Just thought you all would like to know. Other than that, I just busted a socket trying to get the front left tire off to get it fixed so it will load better. I'll continue trying to get it off and repaired.
