Year:1980 Make:MG Model:B Mileage:74,445 Vin#GVVDJ2AG501164 This car, being last year MGB, has a very good driving manner. Excellent road feel combined with a rust free/accident free body are some this car's high points. The low original miles (74,445) appear to be accurate as evidenced by the very good to excellent engine condition. -Very high oil pressure -No engine smoke Thirty years of use have brought numerous dings, and scrapes to the body of the car, so although the car is very presentable, a paint job would be next on the to do list. Overall the inspection of the car shows a good level of maintenance with a variety of relatively new components (brake master cylinder,clutch cylinder,tune up parts, excellent tires, etc).However as with any 30+year old car an ongoing repair schedule must be considered. Other points noted in our inspection includes an exhaust leak near the exhaust manifold area and some electrical system repairs needed. The overall wiring harness looks good +intact, but a visible inspection showed a few loose wires and a few consumers inoperative. The seats and carpets look and feel great, and the convertible top looks like a recent replacement. All gages show great reading, and the clock works....The most important thing with any classic car is the body, chassis, and frame are rust free.
