Vehicle Detail

I purchased this car from a eldrely gentleman who cliamed to be the second owner. This was one of many mustangs that he had in his stable. It was purchased near Branson Mo. back in 1993. I drove the car home to Michigan and took it to a few car shows and then parked the car. It sat for several years, only being used occasionally in the summer. It has remained stored in my warehouse for several years until I pulled the motor and transmission for a complete rebuild, while the car was painted. I have just completed a mechanical and cosmetic resto on the car. This is a very nice car that is affordable,it is not a rotisserie restoration. You really should see the car in person to appreciate the quality of work that has gone into it. The car was professionally painted by a top quality body shop. The car had one small patch put in the passanger side lower 1/4 drop off. It was origionally a Vintage Burgandy with Parchment interior car. I changed the color to black with blach interior. The car retains the origional floor pans, fenders, doors, and 1/4 panels minus the patch panel. I added the Shelby fiberglass with steel underlayment hood ,Tony Branda's best quality, and also Branda's lower Shelby scoops. It has a reproduction Shelby GT 350 Wooden steering wheel. There was a steel patch welded in beneath the battery tray which is typical. The frame rails and inner fenders are excellent. The Shelby plexiglass 1/4 windows are also from Tony Branda. The seats were rebuilt with new foam padding, and comfort-weave black upholstery. They look and feel excellent. It also has a new headliner and carpet, new kick panels, a new dash pad, door panels and new handles. Also all new chrome on the fold-down seat. The dash was repainted and has a new insrtument bezel with a new ignition switch and new dash knobs and chrome dash bezels. It also has the fold down rear seat and an undamaged trap door which allows access to the trunk. The trunk pans are solid. The origional 289 motor has been completely rebuilt and includes a aluminum 4-barrel intake with a new Holly carb. The origional c-4 trans was also professionally rebuilt. Both motor and trans run great. The car also has new stainless trans and brake lines. A new 3 core radiator, all new belts, hoses, rebuilt distributor, and many many more new items under the hood. It also has Tri-Y headers and new dual exhaust.Sounds like a Ford should. It has a ISKY hydrolic Mega-cam which is a bit larger than the orig hipo spec. cam. The car has the origional rear with new brakes and completely new front disc brakes that I had installed a local brake shop. I used origional 1965 disc brake spindles. Everything in the front suspension was rebuilt including the upper and lower ball joints, tie rods,A-arms,control arms,etc.. The upper control arms were redrilled to lower the front to Shelby specs;with 1" lowering 680lb springs and 4 new KYB shocks. A Shelby style export brace helps stiffen the front of the car. There is a lot of money put into this car that I have mentioned and much more that I probably forgot. I will be taking many more pictures over the next few days. The car is very dusty in the pictures and does not do the car any justice. It has super clean lines and body panels. The origional SHELBY CRAGAR mag wheels in the photo DO NOT go with the car. It has a set of new 15 inch Magnum 500 wheels with BFG tires. Please limit your e-mail and call if you can as I do not have enough time to answer all mail. I can be reached at (269)-317-7349 or (269)-968-3254. There is much that is not listed in the ad that has been done to the car. I have put a lot of time and money into this car and am selling it to finish restoring a 66 Shelby.
