1969 HONDA CT90 K1 DUAL PURPOSE MOTORCYCLE. Please read this description completely.... This Bike was purchased new 1970 and ridden 405 miles in Summer of 1970. The Bike was then parked and never started or ridden again until MAY 16,2010. The owner had drained the fuel tank, disconnected the battery and covered it up in the lower level of his home. There it sat for 40 years.. I discovered it while doing some repairs at his house. I couldn't leave this incredible piece of history behind, so I purchased it.. When I got it ,it was Dusty. I carefully wiped it with Windex and soon discoverered that the paint as well as all of the chrome was Perfect, no pitting or rust whatsoever. Unbelievable.......This bike has never seen Rain or been exposed to UV rays from being left outside, other than when ridden. It is so incredibly perfect that you will forget that it is 41 yrs old. I installed a new battery, removed the carb, installed a new fuel selector seal and reassembled it. It started easily, so after warming it up rode it for a couple miles. This bike even rides like a NEW bike.. The fuel tank is clean, all electrical is perfectly original and performs flawlessly. This is a 40 yr old NEW bike as far as condition. I did replace the fuel lines also and replaced the fork rubbers... (because one was torn by me when I transported it)...The seat feels like new and this bike is as tight and quiet as a new bike would be... If you can appreciate old motorcycles, then you would be amazed at this one. It has the original tires and they look as good as new, sidewalls show no cracking. This bike comes with the original Title "0" miles. This bike even has the Crayon still on it from the inspection process at the factory as well as all approval stickers.. Please consider that you aren't buying a "RIDER" , But are buying a piece of history that can be ridden, Parades,or Shown at many Nostalgic shows.. If you have read this far, I guess you know that I am PROUD to own it... I have never seen a 40 yr old original motorcycle that even comes close.. I know that there has to be A CT90 Collector / restorer that would love to own this ONE ! If you know of someone like that please tell them about my bike... I collect / restore CT70's and I am only selling this bike to focus my attention on my projects.. and since it needs nothing !
