For sale is my beautiful 04 Chevy SSR in a vibrant "Slingshot Yellow". This is a limited edition vehicle that was produced by Chevrolet from 04 to 06. For the average auto enthusiast, this vintage-esque roadster offers sleek lines, a contemporary powertrain, and has the feel of a classic with the convienences of a modern vehicle. For the gear head it boasts a 5300 5.3L V-8 monster with 300 hp and 331 lb-ft torque.It is a classic design with large, flared fenders and sculpted hood. The body style is complimented with brushed rims (that match interior features) that are 19" on the front and 20" on the back. Although it is a V-8 I am getting 15.8 mpg as an average in the city and this goes up to well over 20 mpg on road trips. I ALMOST FORGOT THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!!! It is a hard-topped convertible. That is correct, a truck that is stylish, fast, and convertible! In fact, the roof retracts in aprox. 25 seconds. The perfect amount of time to pull up to a red light, push the top down button, and be able to finish the cycle before the light turns green. I love this truck and purchased it relatively new (previous owner put 2300 miles on her) and have cared for her ever since. The car has aprox 93,000 miles on it and does show a little bit of wear in the form of small paint chips. All scheduled maintenance (documented) has been performed and only high grade gasoline has been used. The purpose of which is to burn hotter so that less deposits are left in the engine. She was a factory buy back, so the rear-end and tranny are newer than the motor. Also, I have replaced the cooling system and improved the fan. The stock fan that came out in 04 had issues throughout, but no recall was instigated. This is true of most 04 ssr's as well as corvettes (considering they have the same motor).
