Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1935 Plymouth PJ 5 window coupe. This is a rust free, all metal car. There are no patch panels, every panel is original!!! From everything I can see, this car has never been in an accident, as all the braces in the trunk or up front are perfect. All frame rails are straight and clean. The original hydraulic brakes work perfectly and even the parking brake works. I originally bought this car to hot rod, but after getting the car, I couldn't bring myself to tear apart and destroy a complete numbers matching car. According the the Chrysler Historical Collection, the serials numbers with this car are all consistant for this model and year. Here are the serial numbers off the car: Engine: PJ2259661, Chassis: 3154951. I have a clear Utah title for this car. The engine starts and runs perfectly with zero knocking or ticking, she sounds great!! All the lights work and the car has been converted to 12 volts. Someone also added a second exhaust manifold flange, so this car has true dual exhaust. These are the only two modifications I can find on this car. The car drives nice and the transmission shifts nice and smooth and will cruise very nicely a 60 MPH without effort! There is a crease in the rear drivers fender which would be very easy to fix. All the gauges work except the oil pressure, but the previous owner added an aftermarket gauge which does work. The interior appears to be all stock and someone added a 7 day brass wind up clock that still works. The steering center cap is not shown in the picture, but does come with the car. As you can see in the pictures, the car came with an oil bath air filter and an oil filter, which were options back in the day. The car also comes with all five artillery wheels and tires. There are no hubcaps except for the spare tire carrier. The car even comes with the original Plymouth Instruction Manual, Second Edition, February 1935 and Mechanic Repair Manual.
