NO RESERVE AUCTION!! THIS CAR WILL SELL Incredibly clean, original and RUST FREE 1974 MG Midget. This cute little MG recently came my way while at a dealer auction and I just couldnt resist since I had owned the twin to it about 30 years ago. Reality has set in and there is no practical reason for me to keep this little car. It has a clear New Mexico title and I was able to contact the previous owner and ask him about the cars history, It is an original NM vehicle. He owned it for about ten years and did some up keep and minor restoration work. The paint was new prior to him buying it and still looks great, It has obviously been garaged for a long time. He replaced the interior and did a very nice job. He had replaced the top many years ago and it is very nice with the exception of one tear, as seen in the pictures. The under carriage is virtually perfect as is the suspension, shocks, brakes and the tires are like new. There are many spare parts in the trunk as well as a new top boot and two taneau covers that appear to be the originals. It really runs great, clutch cooling system seem to be excellent. I did notice it smoke the other morning just briefly upon start up but that was the only time I have noticed it do that. I think I may have had it flooded by not getting the choke in soon enough. There is a small oil leak somewhere around the lower part of the engine? It does not leave a puddle, it just had the oil pan looking a little wet. I also noticed that first gear does seem to be non-synchronised and does growel a bit, this may be normal, I just cant rember how my other car was 30 years ago. Over all a very nice and driveable British classic. I cannot guarentee that the miles are actual, but certainly appear to be. Please dont bid on this car if you dont have the funds available.
