Please read the description and email me any questions you may have. For Sale is a 1959 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron that I purchased for the drive train. The MOTOR, TRANSMISSION AND RADIATOR DO NOT COME WITH THE CAR. I purchased the car becuase of the motor and trans work that was completed while the previous owner was restoring the car. The car was driven until 3 years ago when it was parked on a old gravel driveway in the back of a friends yard. The brakes went out and the owner moved to the city and lost interest in the car. I have put alot of pictures up to show the good and the bad parts of the car. I will also provide the winning bidder with the previous owner contact information for future reference while restoring the car. The majority of the cancer is on the bottom of the quarter panels, doors and front fenders. With the exception of a few small dings and small surface rust areas here and there the body is in good shape. I detailed alot of the rust in the pictures. all the chrome trim around the windows and doors is in great shape but the body molding are strait but pitted. The bumpers and mirrors will need to be re-chromed but are solid with no dings. The pasanger side windshield was brocken by one of the kids with in the last three years and was never replaced. There is no mold in the car but im not sure how it was protected or if at all. 98% of the car is all orginal. The car was a highly optioned car with the 413 big block and 727 push buttom trans (The motor and trans are not included). The rest of the glass is perfect. Everything in the car works from the rear ac blower to the map lights. The only electrical items that dont work are 2 out of the 4 electric window motors. The frame is great with no holes. I dont see any holes in the trunk but there could be rust under the gas tank. The drivers side floor pan (detailed in the pics is showing soft areas and small holes but looks to be the major part of it. There is surface rust under the car but does not seem to cause any real damage yet. The tires and hub caps are in great shape with the exception of a ding in the rear drivers side hubcap. This car came with every option that I know of including the gold trim package (not real gold just looks like it) however im not a expert on the imperial. I WILL NOT PART OUT THE CAR. Please dont ask. The interior is all original with the exception of carpet in the front. All the interior will need to be re-done and are showing major signs of their age. Its not large but I wanted the buyers to be aware. I must of done this while removing the drive train. I believe this is easy to fix if the bumpers are going to be re finished.
