1984 el camino --- i bought 6 months ago but recently bought a 1977 el camino so this one has to go -- i was told salvage title was due to theft and not a wreck and looking at the car i believe it -- this is also why the truck has a 454 engine - --- basic info -- the body is great new paint job with cadillac pearl white paint --- there is a dent next to the tail gate shown in the pictures that a local garage blessed me with while doing a tune up --- other than the dent the body is excellent -- no rust --- the bed is clean and has a bed liner --- the engine is a newer 454 that runs great -- i can't tell you the exact year or mileage because i wasn't told but it it very clean and runs strong -- my mechanic guessed that it had maybe 30- 40 k miles on it at most --- i will include pics of the motor as soon as i can take them --- the body and the drive train are the good news body looks great and car drives strong --- i just had a complete tune up all fluids and filters changed and the rear tires are brand new --- front tires in excellent condition --- the down side in my mind is the interior --- it is very useable as is but needs work to match the outside condition ---- the dash has the usual cracks in it -- the original seats have been replaced by bucket seats from a camaro -- they work well but they sit to low for my taste --- the weather stripping for both doors need to be replaced and the drivers door needs some adjustment -- it is sagging as they do --- the door panels need work or to be replaced -- the pull straps are missing etc ---- i have new weather stipping for both doors and a new set of tail lights that will go with the car -- the tail lights on the car are fogged --- in addition i have an original bench seat from an 84 el camino that can go with the car for $ 150 --- thats what i paid for it --- it needs to be recovered or at least have a seat cover --- i am selling at no reserve but i have more in the car than my opening bid so please don't ask me to lower the price--- i didn't take as many pictures as i thought so i will post more as soon as possible --- if you need more specific pictures or more info please feel free to e mail me --- true mileage is unknown as odometer is not working but this car is in great shape so i feel the mileage is close --- could not set the price as no reserve so reserve price is 2900.01 thanks
