1972 Honda CT70 Vin# CT70-2012717 Miles 2078 Condition 95+% Starts and runs, shifts good. All lights and horn work. Original intent to completely restore soon learned that I simply did not have the time to do so. Has two keys. Parts I have replaced, (Honda whenever possible.) Spark plug. Coil (Old one probably not bad, still have.) Fuel tank side support pads. Both Fuel lines. (added fuel filters) Air filter element. Air boot from carb to air box. Battery. Battery area cover. Headlight dimmer switch. Neutral indicator light bulb. Speedo night light bulb. Added grab handle on R/H side of bike. Have new Clymer Manual, plus reproduced Honda Parts catalog and owners manual. Polished manifold. (Have original) Polished valve covers. (Have original) Magnetic drain plug. (Have original) Changed oil. Parts I have purchased but not installed. New brake shoes. New chain. (New chain breaker included) New sprockets. New rear hub drive dampers. New rear hub dust cover. Chrome acorn nut set. New points. New condenser. Spare spark plug. Clip to hold tool kit in place under seat. Foot peg rubbers. Front brake lever. Things that need correction in my opinion, but not currently required. Install points and condenser and check timing for better performance. Replace brake pads for better braking. Clean and rebuild carb for better performance. (Does not seem to rev high enough?) Clean or replace oil screen. Minor paint touchup as required. Small tear in seat on R/H side, repair or replace seat cover. Tool kit is not complete. It starts, runs and everything works as it is now and could easily be a 100% condition* bike with little effort and hardly any parts purchase required. * Not a 100% restored bike, that would be a lot more expense and work.
