1985 Mercedes 300D Turbo diesel 4 door sedan with Low Mileage! This is a classic car that runs beautifully, and it has only 118k miles on it. It is common knowledge that this diesel engine is good for 300k miles plus. This Mercedes has a Turbo Diesel, 5 cylinder engine, Automatic Transmission, leather seats, and sunroof. It has Power Locks/Windows, Rear Window Defrost, First Aid Kit, and the original owners manuals. It also has a Kenwood stereo with CD player, Kenwood KDC-X590, installed 3 years ago, that is Sirius Ready and has a remote control. This car loves to cruise on the highway. It's very dependable. I've never had a problem starting it on very cold days in the winter. Leather seats and interior are in very good condition. Paint is in fair condition, and there are several scratches on the driver side door. (see pic) I recently ordered the touch-up paint, and will include it with the car. One ding in the front left fender (see pic). The car has had regular maintenance, and it was serviced at a mechanic that specializes in vintage mercedes. Recently replaced ball joint, air filter mount, sunroof motor, and new brakes. The air conditioning probably needs to be charged (blowing, but not cold). The heat works very well. The sunroof is lovely in the summer. We prefer to sell this car locally (near Chicago), but national buyers are welcome as long as they make the arrangements for shipping or pickup. The vehicle report says 121k miles in 2008, and I'm not sure why. I think I must have guessed at the mileage when I filled out the paperwork for registration when we moved to Chicago. (please see new pics). With regard to rust - where there are some small imperfections in the paint, there is some brownish rust color. I took a picture of the worst spot (see new pic). Also, please note that there is some white paint on one door handle and rim (see new pic), and some minor imperfection cracks in the front clear plastic.
