Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I love these trucks! Clean, RUST FREE, Central Oregon Desert (DRY CLIMATE) Good Running and Driving 1969 Ford F250! This truck is COMPLETE and Original. If you are looking for a truck to restore/customize, this is a great start! Drives real nice and smooth. Newer brakes (Front Disc & Rear Drum) just installed. Stops true and straight. OPTIONS: Camper Special Explorer Package, 360 2bbl, C6 Auto Transmission, Dana 60 Rear End, The extra heavy duty rear springs with overloads, and Power Steering. Being the "Camper Special" it has the Factory Tool box in the bed, along with the Dual Fuel Tanks, which BOTH WORK and the gauge is accurate in both. I bought this to restore for myself, but as you would know it, found another truck that is pulling me in a different direction now. Can't keep both of them, so this one is up for bids. The tire mount in the front is not forever permanent. It can be removed with the four bolts and the spare can be put back under the bed. Overall, it's in great shape for its 42 year old age. Yes, the paint is original. The paint is faded and it's time to be painted. For a buyer, I feel it’s better to see BEFORE HAND, NO rust and body rot versus "fresh paint" that may be hiding ugly things. Rather than paint it myself and ADD to the price, I feel it's more important that you see it just the way it is AND know what you are getting! That's the main reason I bought it myself in the first place. It's priced right so you can have it painted in the exact color YOU want, truly making it YOURS. NADA Puts the value on this truck around 8K, less 3K for Paint = 5K. That’s NADA – They like to dream….. This is reality – So the Reserve IS very low on this truck. I bought it from the original family, it was their Dad's truck. Due to his advanced years, He finally stopped driving and it came to me. The only real body issue is the tail gate. He backed up with the tailgate down into a tree and it's thumped. It’s fully operational and there is no damage to the mounting points at the bed. Easy to replace. It’s obvious it was never abused, for it drives out great. Even the Original AM Radio works. The bed is in good shape - not hammered to death like some of them are. Check out my feedback – you will find that I’m totally upfront on anything I sell. I expect full payment within 7 days of auction close. I will accept payment as follows: The safest and best choice for both parties involved is direct bank wire transfer. I’ve done this a number of times now, both buying and selling, and it works best for everyone involved and protects both the seller and buyer. If you have questions about this, please don’t hesitate to contact me at: 541 678-3399 Pacific Standard (West Coast) Time. I will also accept Cashier’s Checks, but expect up to two weeks for funds to totally clear, before I release the vehicle. This is due to the fact that there is a lot of fraud these days, in regards to cashier’s checks. A sad fact of modern life. Pick up and Shipping is the BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY. I will be more than happy to make the vehicle ready and available to pick up, once funds have cleared. There is no warranty expressed or implied – winning bidder understands this vehicle is being sold “AS IS”. Winning bidder is responsible for insuring the vehicle after purchase and it is highly recommended in the event damage occurs during the shipping process. Please feel free to ask questions and bid on this truck. On Feb-18-11 at 16:46:55 PST, seller added the following information:
