Vehicle Detail
1957 TRIUMPH TR3 ROADSTER WITH LOTS OF NEW PARTS I am selling this car for a customer. He bought it back in 1967, had the engine rebuilt and then had an accident and the car has been sitting ever since in a storage building. He had every intention of restoring this car back to good condition. The customer purchased a new rear apron assembly (still in Roadster Factory shipping carton,(which Moss charge nearly a 1,000.00 for) new windscreen Glass (still in crate from Start your Engines), Boot Lid; Spare Wheel Lid, stone guards for rear fenders, new fender beading, original wire wheels, ammeter, Tonneau Cover, Convertible Top, two wedge type side curtains, hand crank, uni-sync for carburetors, T-Tool, Rear Jump Seat. Also has original jack and crank handle and new fender beading. The engine was rebuilt before the car was parked up but only has about 5,000 miles on the motor. It was built with the Big Bore Pistons for more horsepower. Customer is trying to locate all the paperwork on the engine rebuild so the winning bidder can have it. I have looked underneath the car and the frame appears in good condition as I have tried to show in pictures, floors all look to be good. Major body work will be to the rear, as it was hit in the rear, but as stated, new parts included(paragraph 1)I This car has front disc brakes, wheel cylinders and brake hoses were replaced last year. I have looked the car over thoroughly and appears to be nothing missing. A great project or labor of love for someone. This TR3 has the smaller mouth grill and overdrive transmission which is more desirable. This will be a good project for someone, alot of your expensive parts are already done or there. I welcome anyone who wants to come by and see the car, just call and set up a time. If you require any specific pictures please email and give me your email address. If you have any questions, feel free to call 941-306-5867 M-F 9:30 - 4:30. Thanks and happy biddingOn Feb-09-11 at 08:39:29 PST, seller added the following information: To add: The car is titled in Michigan by its engine number TS19567 and also has the commission number TS19128.
