This car has spent its entire life in California up until 2003, when the car was purchased off ebay for $5,000. The car was then relocated to North Carolina, were it has been ever since. The car has had over $30,000 invested in it being fixed and restored back to is original conditon since it was purchased in '03. Everything has been put back original except for the alternator that was installed. The motor and transmission have both been completely rebuilt with less than 500 miles on each. The car has brand new brakes, carburator has been rebuilt and has complete dual exhaust system. It is well equipped with power steering, power brakes, radio and heater. Car does have the original radio still installed, but an aftermarket radio has been installed in the glove box, that now controls the speakers. The body of the car is in excellent condition with a brand new two-tone paint job; painted back to it's original color (Palomino Buff and White). Both front and back bumpers have been completely rechromed. The interior of the car is also in excellent condition; with power seats and power windows. Seats have been re-upholstered along with the head linear as well, both back to their original colors. The glass all tthe way around have no cracks. Car is complete with no missing parts other than the driver side door lock. This is a very good, dry, straight car that has always been garage kept. This car is truly one you can be proud of. One thing that really makes this car stand out is that it is the same year and model car that was driven by the famous Marilyn Monroe.
