This is a 1964 (late),with disc brakes on the front, Spider Normale. Modifications to this car include Koni shocks on the front and the addition of duel side draft Weber 40DCOE carburetors with the proper manifold and throttle linkage. The exhaust is also been changed to Veloce headers. This car rides and drives very well. It is not a garage queen. It has competed in many classic car rallies and always finished in the top 5. The odometer has a gear interface to set accuracy. It is a fun and beautiful car. Now for the bad news. The tires have good tread but show age cracks. The right front rebound cable is broken. There is a rock chip and crack in the windshield near the right front lower. There is also touch up paint just in front of the windshield where the rock struck first. There is a small about of surface rust under the car that is no big deal, but there are two small holes in the floor on the drivers side and I have included pictures of these holes. The front hood chrome trim has screws holding it on as the original pins have broken off. The driver side washer nozzle is missing. There is a howl from the differential but works well. If this were my car I would replace the tires and windshield. I would also try to quiet down the diff. With all this in mind the owner does not expect to get $45,000 for the car and the reserve is far below that figure. This is a chance to own a very nice car needing only minor repairs. It is priced to sell. This is a used car and as such is sold AS IS and has no implied or given warranty. You must arrange shipping or pickup. Pick up by a shipping company is easy as the car is located in the country on a low traffic road. Payment in full will be due at pick up no later than 10 days after the end of the auction. Any other arrangement of payment schedule will be by mutual agreement of both buyer and seller.On Feb-10-11 at 11:23:32 PST, seller added the following information: THE RESERVE HAS BEEN LOWERED. The car has front Koni shocks and poly (new) sway bar bushings. The engine number is AR00112*15384 and is correct for the year of the car. Giulia cars did NOT have car/engine matching numbers. ORIGINAL COLOR IS RED, but it's hard to tell. The engine compartment and trunk and doors/jams are black as well. There is slight damage to the right side lower body trim bar.
