1972 custom 20 3/4 ton 4x4 custom camper. This truck was completley dissassembled in 2000 . It has been put back together in better than new condition.This 4x4 still has its OG transmission, transfer case , as well as its front and rear(factory Detroit Locker) diffs.All of which were removed serviced , cleaned and re installed. It no longer has its OG 350 motor , but has a 350 that was rebuilt and re installed, that runs like a dream. The exterior of this truck is unbelieveable, the body is lazer straight, and the paint has been re sprayed in the OG two tone colors , the paint on it is nearly 10 years old but look at , other than a few rock chips here and there , and a few chigger bites behind the front tires it is stunning. The inside of the bed was prepped and painted as well, it had some patina in the floor but was blasted and painted as the rest of the truck and shows well. All trim pieces, mouldings, chrome, bumpers, emblems , mirrors have either been refurbished or replaced. All glass, slightly tinted as from factory, and glass rubber is new. The interior is just as nice, it has new dash pad, guage cluster , carpet and padding , as well as an upgraded houndstooth seat, the faom has also been replaced and makes you feel like you just rolled off the dealers lot. This truck has air conditioning ( needs hooked up), factory am fm radio, tilt steering collum, the inside has also been re painted and is beautiful. Check out the documentation on this truck, I have the build sheet, Protecto plate , glove box sticker, as well as dealer info for the factory Detroit Locker rear end, (wow!) Look at the glove box sticker on this rig, it has more options than most of the Cheyenne Supers out there!! What can you say about this 4x4, it runs great drives like new , and looks better than it did when the general built it in 72. It is not 500 hp, it is not loaded with billet and bling,It does not have a 6 in lift. But if your looking for a super nice 72 truck, this is it .
