Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1972 Chevrolet Super Cheyenne. I am the third owner of this truck. I bought it nearly two years ago from the second owner who intended to restore it but was unable to. Prior to to him, it was owned by the original owner and maintained in Alabama its whole life. I've spent the last year and a half conducting a frame on restoration. Improvements include: Cab and bed lifted off the clean frame and add new body mounts New shocks and ball joints Suspension bearing for tandem driveshaft New exhaust (hush thrush mufflers) All new rubber for interior New bench seat to include foam, springs, seat adjuster, and cover Carpet and padding New windshield and back glass All new trim and body mouldings New rear bumper Spray in bed liner New dash cluster, radio, air conditioner panel, glove box, headliner, steering wheel New shifter and turn selector New glover box New season control hoses New plugs, wires, distributor button and cap Any panel that had evidence of rust was replaced completely WITH NO BONDO. The panels replaced include both rocker panels, right hand door, and right hand front fender. There is no rust on this truck New headlights, reflectors, taillights, and markers New radio with option to plug in an auxilarry device such as a MP3 player or smartphone (IPOD) Original telescopic crank shaft jack I have made very attempt to keep this truck as original as it was when it rolled of the floor in Atlanta in 1972. The previous owners had a camper shell on the back so the bed is in great condition with no rust or dents. To give you an idea of how well it was maintained, as I began to restore it, I discovered the seatbelts still had the original plastic on them from the factory. There is not a scratch on this truck and you could comb your hair in the reflection of the paint. I intended for this to be an everyday driver but now think it easily a Saturday cruise in or parade truck. It is definitley a head turner. Options from the showroom include heavy duty springs, four seaon air (I have not hooked up since it is winter and have decided to sell), power steering/brakes, turbo hydromatic transmission, parchment trim. This was the top of the line in 1972 and if you know your trucks I need to say no more. This is a turnkey that you can drive home or I will help out with shipping. Downsizing and getting rid of toys is my loss but necessary. I have set the starting price low and the reserve low as well. I must sell this truck. I will only accept cashier's check or cash. I will not release the truck until all funds have been received and cleared. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
