This deposit is NOT REFUNDABLE if the purchaser backs out of the deal! Your deposit will be forfeit if you waste the time of the seller by not going through with the deal for personal reasons! The remainder is due within 3 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding. GENERAL OVERVIEW:
You are bidding on a 2003 Land Rover Discovery SE (Series II). This will be a NO RESERVE AUCTION. This vehicle is NOT RUNNING. The engine will not turn over. This vehicle is being sold entirely AS-IS.
I will share what I do know about the vehicle below so please read on!
I was able to test some electrical switches like windows and mirrors. So far, power mirrors and seats work. The front sunroof doesn’t seem to open but the rear one does. The power locks work on the driver side but not passenger (looks like a little short on that side, easy fix). The radio works and so do the speakers. The blower for the AC/heater works as well.
This is also the SE model, so it has the double sunroofs!
I had the entire vehicle fully detailed. It looks amazing and it’s a shame it doesn’t run! This vehicle is worth over $9,000 on a lot, buy it here and fix it yourself to get a much cheaper deal!
EXTERIOR: (Rating – 10/10!!)
The exterior looks fantastic. All the body panels are straight and are blemish free! The only issue with this car is the front plastic bumper seems to have some cracks on it (shown in the pictures at the very bottom). The rest of the vehicle looks brand new!
INTERIOR: (Rating – 10/10!!)
The interior is also in fantastic shape! The whole car has been detailed but it didn’t even need it! The seats are all clean and so is the carpet! The only issue I saw was a small hole in the driver-side seat (Picture listed at the very bottom)
The tires are in great shape, I estimate there all at about 80% tread left!
You will see the rear drive shaft in the trunk. I had it specifically removed so that the vehicle could be towed on a normal tow truck. This is simply to make it easier on you if you can’t find a flat bed. The Rover can be picked up on it’s front wheels and the rears are now free spinning and will not damage the transmission or the 4x4. The driveshaft and all the bolts are neatly packed in the trunk and it’s a simple thing to put back on!
The Carfax I provided you shows a great deal of care that went into this vehicle! It has been at the service facility often to get preventative maintenance done! Fix this truck up and have yourself a great ride for dirt cheap!

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction.
This deposit is NOT REFUNDABLE if the purchaser backs out of the deal! Your deposit will be forfeit if you waste the time of the seller by not going through with the deal for personal reasons!
The remainder is due within 3 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
If you are not sure about something, please ask! Do not assume anything not listed is included. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback. We reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale.
You are bidding on a USED car and must understand that there will be normal wear and tear on the vehicle. Such things as loose knobs and panels are likely. I will do my personal best to show you every fault I find with the car but some things might go unseen to me.
I do NOT accept returns on any vehicles! You must read the entire auction and call with any and all questions. I also suggest you come and see the vehicle prior to bidding (if you are in the area). I do my best to post everything I know about the vehicles I sell. If there is something unclear, please ASK rather than assume! I will always do my best to clear everything up prior to a sale!
Also, when purchasing a used car please note we do NOT change or replace, unless noted in the auction, such issues as engine oil & other fluid changes, tune ups, tire rotations, belt changing, wheel alignments, brakes and rotors, wiper blades, motor mounts, unless totally worn, and any other normal wear & tear issues. We also do NOT guarantee these vehicles will pass inspection unless the general maintenance is completed. What we DO guarantee is that our vehicles will be as accurately described as possible.
Fee and Tax Information: A $250.00 processing fee will be added to the final price. This fee is non-negotiable and will cover your Temporary Tags. This fee also includes a pickup from the local Airport, Bus station, and Train station. PA residents are responsible for all taxes and notary fees at the time of purchase.
A $150.00 LATE FEE will be added to the final price if the full payment is not made within 3 days of the auctions end.
A $5.00 PER DAY STORAGE FEE will be added to the final price if the vehicle is left on our lot over 7 days from the auctions end. Please contact me if you need more than a weeks time to pick up your vehicle prior to bidding!
Due to the fact that Paypal charges a roughly 3% surcharge for every transaction, I will ask that you do NOT pay me the balance of the vehicle with Paypal. If you want to pay anything over the $500.00 deposit then you will need to pay with either Cash, Cretified Bank Check, or a Wire Transfer.
