1971 Chevrolet Monte 350 engine, 350 transmission perfect for restoration, bought car last year runs, drives, stops, tabbed. Purchased last year as project but never got the time or money to start so instead of letting it rot away decided to pass it on. Cannot promise vehicle mechanically sound as I have not spent any time on this car , all I can tell you is it currently runs, no water in oil, unsure as to where and how car was treated before I purchased. Dent from parking pole on right quarter, smooth no deep crease, should pop out nicely. Front bumper dented, grille broken where bumper hit it, drivers mirror broken. Bondo cracking where previous owner repaired rear window rust out. Typical rust spots,left rear quarter and wheel well rusted through, left fender rusted through, right rear floor has rust through. All panels still available through year one. Interior stripped to bare minimum as was moldy from sitting where I found it. Starts ,runs, and drives, but has been sitting for 6 months, needs battery, all coolant drained due to leak, needs rewired as fuse block rotted due to windshield leak. Overall a great starting point for a restoration, I know little of this car including actual mileage as odometer inop and I have only owed 10 months and it has pretty much sat the entire time.
