Vehicle Detail

1988 Corvette, Automatic, just under 61k. Car is not new, has some nice modifications and upgrades, and I will go thru the issues I have seen. Starts every time, idles a bit low rpm's / rough till warmed up, possibly due to the Aftermarket BBK twin 58mm Throttle Body(pictured), coupled with a rare Accel/ Lingenfelter SuperRam and Runners Box Intake. The SuperRam Intake adds about 60-80 more hp and about 80lbs more torque to the stock 245hp motor. This exits thru dual Flowmaster Mufflers. Once warmed up, throttle response and power is superb. An undersize crank pulley was fitted for more HP, Crane Aluminum Roller Rocker Arms were installed on the heads and the rear differential housing was swapped from the stock 2.87 to a lower 3.07 gear ratio for more low end acceleration, acceleration demos this, smooth and fast. Suspension is the Z-52, with a Guldstrand lowering kit, this car sits about 1 ½ lower than a stock Z-52. Ride is responsive and firm but not harsh. The driver's seat is showing some wear, but remains VERY comfortable and usable as is, these are the Dual Leather Sport seats with Power Lumbar option, all of which functions and work great. The steering wheel shows a bit of wear and age as well. The right side instrument cluster illumination is dim sometimes, all gauges function perfectly. There is no translucent roof, only the solid one, and there is a small de-lamination/paint issue in the middle of the roof (approx 2 1/2 inches, picture included), all the rest of the paint is excellent. The rear panel and lights, and front bumper cover are not stock, both were replaced with 91-96 ZR1 Style bumper covers and side grills. The rear bumper cover was repaired from a minor bender when It was backed into a tall curb. Paint is excellent, car looks great everywhere but the roof issue. The battery runs down in 3 - 4 weeks of non-use if the alarm is active. When driven regularly this is not an issue. The wheels are ACT/ RONAL (Geschmieder) 17 X 9.5 3-Piece Forged Aluminum shod with Goodyear Eagles F1 275/40/ZR17 at 75% plus est. tread left. The rims are in good, but not perfect shape and there are no bends in them. a photo of the wheel shows the most curb rash. The center caps are original ACT with a rare keyed lock, all the cap show a bit of checking and cracking. The Carfax report shows it's a one owner car. To the best of my knowledge, the car has been in one family, as it was sold (by the original owner?) to his brother in law, which Carfax missed. The title is clear, no accidents. Overall the car is solid, reliable, cosmetically good, stops great and drives well. 7 month old Maxtech (Corvette America) cover goes with the car. More than anything else this car needs to be driven regularly!! The car is in Morgan Hill, I will work with you on shipping, delivery may be arranged with a mileage fee within 1000 miles.
