I'm selling my 1974 Datsun 260Z. I had started to restore the car but my plans have drastically changed. THE CAR IS IN PIECES... Interior is stripped out Doors have been removed Engine and transmission are out Front fenders, bumpers and lights are out The suspension is still bolted on so the car can be rolled around. The glass is still in the car Some details about the car....The good: The car starts and runs smooth. Engine has great compression ( 170 on all cylinders) The car come with fiberglass front fender and rear panels...they were professionally installed by a performance shop in PA in the 1990’s The body is straight with zero dents (fiberglass) There is very minimal rust on the upper body. The interior is complete. Car comes with an automatic transmission that shifted smooth the last time the car was driven. The bad: This car will need new floor pans and rails (available for $364 from http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/SBC1B10 ) or http://www.baddogparts.com/ for around the same price Emission and AC stuff has being removed but I have everything to fully restore it. I misplaced the carbs so new carbs will need to be sourced The car has a beautiful custom paint job but its showing its age. Extra parts: The car come with new plug wires, rotor, cap, plugs, fluids, fuel pump, etc (as I said, I was planning to restore it) You get an engine gasket kit (I opened it to use the exhaust gasket on the 240Z) You get a spare engine with a 4 speed manual transmission and driveshaft The car is worth a lot more in parts than am asking for. The car will need to be towed and parts moved with the pickup truck or trailer. NO RESERVE and once more MAJORITY OF THE PARTS ARE OFF THE CAR Please feel free to ask any questions you might have….ill also take any pictures you might need.
