Vehicle Detail

First let me say, I am a private seller, not a dealer. This is my 2001 CLK Mercedes coupe. It comes in the very hard to find Glacier White, with grey leather. I will try to keep this as simple as possible. I am the second owner. I bought it from the original owner. It was the previous owners, wife's car. Simply put the car looks as close to new, as any CLK you will find anywhere. Car comes with everything you can imagine, and everything functions like it should. All power equipment works as it should, A/C is ice cold. Has a sunroof and automatic sunshade. The exterior is in near new condition as is the interior. I would say, LIKE NEW, but I really dislike that phrase. This car almost applies. There is hardly any wear, anywhere on this car, inside or out. The interior is in mint condition. Car has custom, painted, pinstripping. Also has the lumbar for drivers and passenger seats. I will let you look at the pictures. Please, any questions please ask. I am very picky about my cars, and they want for nothing!! If the car needs something, it gets done. Wheels are flawless, and the tires are 95%. I will post some of my feedback from past buyers. I sell maybe 3 cars a year. It is mostly a hobby, that I enjoy, very much. I have been around cars since a little boy. My dad sold cars for a living. This is the nicest CLK, you will find anywhere!! For those of you, that want to know why I am sellimg. I have sold 3 of my cars in the last 6 months. 1992 Mercedes 500SL, 1987 Mercedes 560SL, and a 1985 Mercedes 300CD coupe. I still have 2001 CLK coupe, 1992 Lexus SC300 coupe, 1987 Chevy Silverado, shortbed pickup, (which I will be listing shortly), and a 1991 Toyota 4runner. I am retiring sometime around January, and would like to thin down my cars to two. Needless to say, my wife is thrilled at this idea!!! All my vehicles are in MINT!! condition. The Lexus SC300 is my latest addition. Good Luck. You will not be dissappointed in this car. Everyone that sees the car, says it looks like new. I included a picture of my 1987 Chevy Silverado, and a picture of my Lexus 1992 SC300, for your viewing pleasure. This auction is for the 2001 Mercedes Clk, only!! Thanks Car has a factory 6 disc CD player in the trunk. Here are a few comments from past buyers: Good morning Randy, You were right, the car is fabulous! We arrived home about 3:30 AM on Saturday. The trip back was very smooth…just a little Friday PM traffic north on 75 but other than that it couldn’t have been better. We did about 1750 miles in 32 hours so needless to say I was glad to get to a bed. Thanks so much for your and your wife’s graciousness and hospitality during our visit. The drinks and snacks were a very kind gesture and much appreciated. Thanks also for making this a truly satisfying transaction that did indeed deliver more than was expected. Since I felt that I contributed some influence to my dad’s decision, I was concerned that he be happy with his decision. As we were driving away, I asked him what he really thought. He said it was even better than he expected. You really have to know him to know what a compliment that was, both to the car and to your honest appraisal of its appearance and condition. It was very nice to meet and do business with someone that shares our values regarding honest and integrity. As we discussed, those traits are becoming harder and harder to find these days. ___________________________________ Dear Randy: It's Saturday morning and I finally have some time and peace of mind to properly write you. The flurry of activities all started Wednesday night when Steve called and said he can deliver the car on Thursday morning. I made arrangements at work to be at home. On Thursday morning he was hitting traffic and so he arrived around noon. Right before Steve arrived, your packet arrived. I step out and Steve begins to unload a 2008 Mercedes but lo and behold, there is this cream beauty tucked inside. My mouth drops and I am quiet as I see the car. I am afraid to even get in it. Steve shows me the paperwork and I tell him it's a gift for my mom, etc. I get in the car and I am scared now. I don't know how I drove the literally 200 feet to my indoor garage but I managed to. I parked and bid farewell. But I kept on looking back and back. I went back to my apartment and then within an hour came down to see if it was still there. Yesterday, I should have worked but I could not bear the thought of the car not having tags, etc. and so I did the unthinkable and just waited the entire day at DMV (10-4:30) getting temporary tags, then inspection, then title, registration. THEN, I realized and saw the car. Before it was just too surreal. Randy, the car is gorgeous. It is everything you described it to be. I circled around the car like an artist admiring a painting. I then decided that I should just drive it. And so I did. I drove 40 miles to Maryland and back. It drives like a new car. Now, I understand why you told me to fly down and drive it back from Florida. Randy, I don't know how to do anything - opening the trunk, opening the hood, etc. - but it is because I am mesmerized by the car. THEN I started to reflect on how I came in the possession of this car. It started with you. I don't know what I did to deserve meeting someone of your caliber but I must have done something right. I recall our first series of emails and then our conversation. It is getting superfluous now but let me say it again and with the deepest conviction and emphasis - I bought you. The car just came with your integrity and honesty – your persona. Mrs. Piro and the children are blessed. I have called my mother and told her my impressions. I have never heard her this excited. I know she is going to say and feel what I saw and felt. It is a beauty. Your care shines through and through. Vinny's care is self-evident. Please convey to Vinny my deepest thanks for his care of the vehicle. But most important of all, I owe you a deep gratitude for making this happen. With your advice and counsel, I hope to properly take care of this car. I am in the national security business - and it is a tough business. It does not take long for one to become cynical about fellow human beings and about the world. You have restored some of my belief that the world still contains people such as yourself. Again, it's not the car. It's you. I hope you and I will remain in touch. I am certain I will have questions for you and Vinny. (e.g. when should I check the oil or have someone change oil and other important liquids, service schedule, etc.). Thank you, again and again and again. _________________________________________________________ Randy, Sorry I took so long to get back to you. Let me first say, I am very pleased with the car. It drove the 650 miles home perfectly. I average over 32 mpg at 75 mph most of the way. My first tank in city driving was 28.4. After I told all my friends and coworkers about how fairly you treated me during this transaction, I think they want in line for one of your cars. I have bought a couple of cars off of EBay, and this was, by far the best transaction I have had. It is very refreshing to meet someone who is so obviously passionate about, not only maintaining great cars, but in representing yourself so well. I will definitely stay in touch, and look to you when my wife allows me to have another car. I would love to make you an offer on the 300CD, but she would KILL me! Thank you again for your kindness and honesty. It was a pleasure to meet you, and I am sure I will speak to you soon. ______________________________________________________________________ Bid with confidence! I only sell what I would buy myself. This is fantastic CLK Inspections are more than welcome BEFORE the auction ends, but NO INSPECTIONS AFTER the auction ends. Check my feedback. Again, this is a private sale, I am not a dealer. Enjoy the benefits of a personalized transaction! If you have any questions, email me. I check my mail often! I reserve the right to end auction early, but would prefer to let it run to the end. If you are looking for one of these great looking CLK coupes, then do yourself a favor, and don't miss this car!! It is very important to put a lot of weight in the seller’s feedback rating, when spending high $$$ on Ebay. I am very proud of my rating and work very hard to satisfy all my buyers. It is one of the sharpest color combinations available. Thanks and good luck, Randy Here is the latest feedback from September, on a 1985 Mercedes 300cd coupe with 28,000 one owner miles. High $$$ The car exceeded my expectation. You are an honest man and a true MBZ car guy. Buyer: Member id orlandoatablefreight ( Feedback Score Of 2 ) For those bidders that wait until the last minute to bid. Please do not contact me after the car has sold, telling me that you wanted the car, but someone outbid you at the last minute. I have never had anyone who was high bidder back out of a sale. Bid what you are willing to pay. You won't regret paying a little more for this CLK. It is absolutely stunning, and you won't be dissappointed. Thanks for viewing my auction, and Good Luck! NO RESERVE!!
