Up for auction is a great looking, great driving 1974 Plymouth Duster with a built 360 that runs GREAT. The car has a automatic transmission, power steering, and power disc brakes. The car is a Nevada car that is RUST FREE. The trunk pan is perfect, the under body is perfect, and the car does not show any signs of ever being in an accident. The body lines are good, doors open and close correctly, and she is just a great example of a daily driver. The motor has about 6,000 miles on her since she was rebuilt, and has a nice sound to her. The paint is just a few months old, and she was paint 2010 Plum Crazy Purple, which is a metallic paint and she sparkles in the sun! The car is ready to cruise, and the pictures will speak for themselves. The car will be sold to the highest bidder, and NO RESERVE!! ENGINE/ TRANSMISSION: The engine was rebuilt about 6,000 miles ago and runs very strong. She starts right up, no smoking or knocking! The engine is topped off with an Edelbrock Performer intake and a 600 cfm Edelbrock carb! She has electronic ignition so no need to mess with points! She has power steering and power disc brakes on her also. The motor was built to run also, with a mild lift cam, flat top pistions, and hardened valve seats. She just sounds mean sitting at idle. The car has dual exhaust, it's an older exhaust system but it does work. The best thing for her would be a new set of Flowmasters on her! The fender tag is in place under the hood also. The transmisson is a smoth shifting 727 that is sealed up nice and tight. The engine and trans match up nice for a nice jump of the line, and tight shifts down the road. The rear end has non posi 3:23 gears that are perfect for cruising! INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR: The interior is very nice overall. The seats are brand new, and they are not covers. The seats were custom fitted for the car by a local shop here in town. The dash has no cracks and sports a new black dash cap. The headliner is in decent shape with showing some wear, as it's the cardboard headliner insert. The carpet does show some wear on the drivers side, but other than that it's in useable shape, and there are new mats in the car. The door panels look pretty good overall with the drivers panel showing wear on the lower part of the panel. The gauges all work corrrectly, except the temp gauge. That quit working a while back. Most likely it's the sending unit, just have not checked it out yet. Speedo works, blinkers work, and all the interior lights work just fine. The radio is original to the car but, it's not hooked up at this time. The weather stripping overall is good on the car also. The exterior was just painted 2010 Metallic Plum Crazy Purple, and the stripes were from Phoenix graphics. The body lines are very good on the car, door close well, all the windows rool up and down correctly. The tires are brand new BF Goodrich on the Rallye style rims. The chrome around the car is in decent shape with normal wear showing. No pitting that I can see which is very good! The power disc brakes are good with a recent set of pads and rotors on her also. INFO: The car is a DAILY DRIVER TYPE CAR!!!. The car is NOT perfect by any means but it’s 37 years old also. Please know this before bidding. I take pride in delivering this car as it was advertised. The windows do need to be retinted eventually, as right now they have some tint coming off near the corners, and I just wanted everyone to know that as the windows are down in the pics. Just also know that there are a few very small dings on the car. No paint chips on the car though, and the dings are very minor.
