This Jeep was purchased and is currently owned by a close friend of mine in Destin Florida. She bought the Jeep last year from the Internet, and she loves it!! It is incredible, she has not driven it over 100 miles, maybe 50, since purchasing it. Here in lies the problem, she would prefer somewhat of a beater. She lives on the beach, and would rather not get sand etc on this jeep. There will be no dissapointments. The Jeep is located in Sunny Destin Florida, fly in and drive it home. I may be able to answer some questions, though I did not build this jeep, keep this in mind. The gentleman who built the jeep wrote this information: You are viewing the most extensive and costly professionally built custom Jeep Wrangler in the world. The project on this 1997 Wrangler began in 2005 and was completed in January of 2010. The parts alone cost over $68,000.00 plus over 1500 man hours and four years to complete for a total cost of over $85,000.OO It is powered by a new Chevrolet 5.7 litre (350 ci) small block displacing over 325 horsepower, Edelbrock intake, MSD ignition and asperated with a Holley Avenger. Every hose is steel braided including the air conditioning. The entire frame and undercarriage is powdercoated. The exterior is Corvette Electron Blue with silver metallic trim. It sports a Ferrari Fly Yellow interior. Grant steering wheel. APC Racing seats. All digital guages, tachometer, speedometer (all custom yellow), custom license plate insert with blue strobes cut into the rear tail gate (Cadillac Eldorado), Custom LED Rear Tail lights custom cut and mounted into the body, BFG All Terrain tires mounted on Ultra Polished Aluminum Wheels with double beadlocks, Soft top, hardtop, bikini top with wind screen and tonneau cover, Pioneeer Sound system with CD and sound bar plus Roland rear woofers and Bazooka bass blaster, custom tuned headers and exhaust, all chrome and stainless hinges, mirrors, door handles, custom 3 1/2" tubular bumpers front and rear. The Blue J boasts full doors for use with the hard top and air conditioning and half doors for topless driving. That is two sets of custom steel doors. Both sets of doors come appointed with stainless chrome mirrors, stainless chrome hinges and stainless chrome door handles. Both sets of doors are custom painted electron blue and are equipped with the custom Ferrari fly yellow inside door panels. A single ignition key controls all the door locks on both sets of doors. The air conditioning is a brand new March performance polished serpentine system with a polished billet compressor, polished evaporator and custom condenser that blows ice cold when the hardtop and full doors are employed. The vehicle is brand new and has never seen rain. It has less than 300 miles since the build. It has won its class in every national and local show ever entered. No expense was spared on the build. (See BUILD at top of page and click) It is an engineering marvel that is unsurpassed in the quality of hot rod building. Every nut and bolt has been replaced with new OEM or stainless steel. It comes with every top available from Jeep. The factory hard top has tinted windows, rear wiper, rear window defogger and painted to match the custom painted body and also comes with Lange Quick Release mounting clamps. It has every receipt and a three ring binder showing the entire build. The lighting is all LED. It is extremely fast yet runs on regular gasoline. It is an automatic 4-wheel drive with a GM 350 transmission. The custom tuned headers and Flowmaster exhaust sound incredible. The replacement cost is over $90,000.00 not to mention four years of a labor of love. it is all true, what you see is what some lucky person will get but remeber there is only 1 Blue J Jeep!! its awesome.
