I have a 2006 Suzuki GSXR 1000 with just over 9,000 original miles. The bike is very clean and very fast. It has been meticulously maintained and taken care of. The oil was changed usually once a month during riding season reguardless of the miles put on it. I've always used premium gas and synthetic oil. The bike has a nitrous kit installed, I havn't used it since I've had it. I've never raced the bike, just rode it on the street. The bike was tuned by the previous owner, he owns and runs a Motorcycle performance shop in Richmond, VA. He's really good with the newer gixxers and he did a really good job putting this bike together and tuning it. Its a beast on the track or street. Once the bike is started and running, you flip the switch on the MPS box under the seat and it turns the Start button into the nitrous button. The air shifter button is the horn button. The nitrous bottle runs down the side of the rear fairing on the inside, it goes in and out through the cowl cover. The line from the bottle is ran there as well. Its very easy to put the nitrous bottle in or out. If your coming from the track and want to do some street riding, just undo the line and pull the bottle right out. I love this bike, I really dont want to sell it, financial problems are the only reason at all Im putting it for sale. There are absolutely no problems at all with the motorcycle. It starts right up and runs perfect. The tranny shifts perfect in and out of every gear, unless your sitting in nuetral with the bike running and you put it into 1st gear it makes a slight clunking noise most of the time but that's just because of the race cut transmission. I have 2 different seats for the bike, the carbon textured gel seat(GSXR Embroidered on it) in the pictures and a custom cut racing seat with the padding cut out in the front. It's very possible that I forgot some mods, there's alot of little stuff done to the bike. I get alot of looks everytime I ride it and its the fastest bike I've ever rode, it will smoke a stock 1000 or Busa and most of the modded ones as well(That I've raced anyways). The bike makes 191hp to the rear wheel on motor, it makes well over 200whp on nitrous. I never had it dynoed on nitrous because I never used it anyways but its set up with a 25 shot so I know it would make well over 200whp with the nitrous. The bike is very clean and very fast. Im assuming that there was damage to the plastic becuase there is no damage at all to the frame or the engine or even any of the engine covers. It is NOT a salvage title, it is a normal clean and clear title. Actual miles and everything. On Jan-28-11 at 07:38:35 PST, seller added the following information: I just wanted to clarify when I said I've never raced the bike, I meant on a track,officially. I have messed around on the street with alot of other bikes. Not actually street racing because I do not support or condone that in anyway. Just accelerating beside other bikes on the highway not going to any extremely high mph's and with absolutely no traffic in front, behind or anywhere in sight. That's how I know what it will beat. Especially since I pulled on the bikes from a roll I know from a dead stop at a track I would easily win because this bike is actually set up specifically for a dead stop race. The previous owner who I bought the bike from did race the bike at the track. Thats how I saw/found out about the bike in the first place. I saw in person this bike run 5.60's in the 1/8th mile, not sure on motor or with nitrous that time(Didnt know the owner at that time). Also I saw the bike go 8.90's in the 1/4 mile on motor then right after I saw it run 8.60's on nitrous. Its either a 25 or 30 shot, I've never even used the nitrous because I never raced the bike on the track, Im not big into racing and I already know what it can run(although I did want to see if I could pull off those number myself because the rider obviously has alot to do with it) but I never really had the time to run it. Sorry for any confusion, the pictures dont do this bike any justice. Whoever ends up with it will be pleasantly suprised when they see the bike in person and see how clean it is and how well put together it is. Considering how fast it is it's also very reliable, its an amazing bike. The best motorcycle I've ever owned by a longshot and I really hate to see it go I just don't have much of a choice financial wise. There is however a certain amount I would have to get for the bike before I could sell it, I'd rather struggle financially than to lose a good deal of money on this bike. I think its well worth what Im asking for, in person I dont think anyone would even begin to argue with me about that. I would take slightly less than what the buy it now is set at but not by much anyways. I have the bike for sale locally so I did reserve the right to end the auction at any time if I recieve an offer locally that I accept.
