Thank you for viewing my listing for my 1986 Jaguar XJS Coupe. This xjs is equipped with the original stock 12 cylinder engine. This XJS has only 109774 original miles. It is in overall solid condition and has never been in any accidents. It was running, driven, tagged, and insured until this past summer. I had major surgery and did not start the car for several months. Now the starter is bad and needs to be replaced before the engine will run. I am not able to perform the mechanical work I would normally do and cannot physically attempt to replace the starter. Thus I am regretfully selling this jag. Here is the overview of its mechanical condition. Motor runs strong with full recent tune up to include plugs, rotor, cap, wires, ect. The transmission is tight and shifts properly in all gears. The tires are new all the way around. The fuel pump and filter are also new. I also purchased a complete interior (blue) in very good condition that goes with the car. (Blue Interior includes all seats, headliner, door panels, side panels, and dash cover !). I have driven this jag on the highway at speeds up to 80 MPH and the suspension and steering are tight with no vibration. This jag is loaded with new and replacement parts and comes with many spares. The body is all there with typical rust on the quarters behind the wheel wells. Floors are decent with one section of the right floorboard which needs patched. The frame rails are solid. Resevre is low at $750.00 I hate to sell this jag as I planned to perform the body work, install the interior, and enjoy the car this summer.
