I HAVE REPORTED THIS BUYER TO EBAY. ******** PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD FOR FULL DESCRIPTION******* Up for bid is a 2002 Kia spectra with only 102K miles. Automatic transmission, 4dr sedan equipt with power steering, a/c, rear window defog. Has a nice after market wheels and detachable face stereo.The car runs good, has 2 new front tires, rear tires still has plenty of life left. Has after market wheels and a detachable face radio/cd player. Title is NOT salvage! Buy it now price is way below KBB and the reserve price is below the buy it now price!!! I accquired this car from a friend and this car has DMV late fees of $380 (as of Nov.). My friend who gave me this car didnt pay the registration fees for 2yrs and did not do a Non Op at the DMV. The reason he didnt register the car was due to the fact that at the time, he could not smog the car because of a broken flange at the exhaust manifold/pre cat converter and therefore could not pass the smog test. The shop he took it too wanted to charge him $1500 for parts and labor to repair it. Coupled with the late fees, he just lost interest and gave me the car as a payment for some money owed to me. I am a mechanic so I went ahead and repaired the exhaust on the car, did a tune up and tranny service and the car runs fantastic! I will smog the car prior to sale so no hassle to new buyer. I have driven the car around our gated community and the car runs great. It idles real smooth and quiet, it shifts really smooth, car has plenty of power! Because of the expired tags, i have only sneeked it out couple of times and drove it out on the country roads to test drive it, and car drives really nice! I have a signed pink slip from the owner, i also put my name on the release of liablility paperwork at the DMV. Please do your homework with the DMV because i do not have time to run around to get signatures or paperwork that you might need. I will provid!e you with the signed pink slip and a bill of sale from me to you. I do not have time to run around and get additional signatures or papers corrected so please please please do your homework with the DMV before you bid. I have provided the vin number and i can also provide you the license number if needed. Take this info to the DMV and find out the fees for yourself before you bid. Again, i do not have time to run around for whatever paperwork you might need therefore the reserve price is set low and the buy it now price is well under the blue book. I will require a $200 non refundable deposit for bidders who change their mind. This would be a perfect car for a first time drivers, students or commutersThe car a some flaws such as, minor dings on the body, a few rock paint chip on the hood, paint peeling on the rear bumper. I also noticed the car seems to have a weak rear shock but to a non mechanic, you might not even notice this. Also, the ac mgiht be low on charge, but since its freezing outside, im not even going to bother to repair this at this time. Feel free to come by and test drive the car to see for yourself.
