Gorgeous 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible up for auction. NO RESERVE, bid early and often, top bidder gets her! You've heard it before, and now it's my turn: My Loss is Your Gain! 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible, 119k, 500 V8. Receipts for work on Caddy going back over 20 years, over $12k invested in last 10 years. Over $2000 invested in Summer 2010 alone, all receipts included. Super clean Caddy Eldo convertible, last year for the big body drop top! Receipts for work going back to 1990 including mechanical, paint and top. New exhaust system from catalytic converter back in December 2009, done right with Walker muffler and resonator, Caddy runs nice and quiet ($800). We had the entire front end rebuilt around the same time, including wheel bearings and seals, inner and outer tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joints, all bushings and new front axles. At the same time rear air shocks and sway bar bushings were installed, work totaling nearly $2500. Four wheel alignment done after the suspension work was done. New front brake calipers, brake hoses, rotors and pads in Summer 2010, new windshield wiper motor, new radiator and hoses, new belts as well as four wide whitewall all season radial tires (over $2000). Convertible top replaced in 2005, top goes up and down easily with the push of a button. High quality , heavy duty leather boot cover in white covers top when down. Power windows work well. Interior is very nice, power seat works in all directions and the air conditioning and climate control works properly through all vents. Caddy was painted in 2000, and all front and rear fiberglass bumper and fender fillers replaced. The Eldo could use new weatherstripping around windows and he bottom of the drivers seat is showing some wear. The chrome and stainless trim are in very nice condition. Cruises nicely on the highway, holds the road perfectly. Runs very strong, tracks straight as an arrow and brakes evenly, no pulling or fading. She idles perfectly (rebuilt carb) shifts smoothly, stops easily and the suspension is luxurious. Drives overall like a Caddy should. Always garaged, Eldo is almost spotless undearneath; floors and trunk completely solid, does not even show surface rust. Too much invested, too little $$$ in the piggybank and now she's gotta go.
