Vehicle Detail

1967 Bolt on Hard-tail Triumph project with titled frame and a partially rebuilt 650 cc engine. The engine is a 1972 model and will bolt right on to this frame. I have been working on rebuilding this awesome project for a while, but unfortunately I just don't have time to finish it. The engine has been completely rebuilt and is almost assembled. The entire bottom end has been disassembled and rebuilt. The rotating assembly and 4 speed transmission have been reassembled with all new bearings, bushings, and seals. The cylinders have been bored to .060 over stock and honed and coated with oil for reassembly. New .060 over stock pistons and rings are included and ready to be installed. The cams are installed and ready to go. The head was completely rebuilt, but has some surface corrosion on the valves and springs, from sitting in storage. Clean off the corrosion and the head is ready to be installed. The carburetor is included and appears to be in great condition. The engine cases look good and all of the bolt holes appear to have good threads. The new gaskets are included to continue assembling the engine. There are several new parts and a lot of extra parts included with this project. The oil pump, clutch chain tensioner, and clutch push rod are just a few of the new parts I can think of right now. The frame is a 1967 model TR6 with a Harley fork and triple tree assembly and Harley 21 inch rim with disk brake and caliper. The neck has a new bearing conversion to adapt the Harley triple tree to the Triumph frame. There are two Hard-tail sections included with this project. The hard tail section on the bike has a 4 inch stretch and laser cut spades on the axle mounts. Both hard tail sections are made to bolt on to this model frame. The frame is in great shape and I have checked it thoroughly for any cracks. It appears to be very solid. The rear hub is ready to be cleaned up and laced to the 16 inch rim that is included. However, I do not have the spokes. They are easy to find, as well as all the other parts needed to complete the project. All of the rear hub parts, drum brake assembly, and new hub bearings are included. There are two clutch assemblies, and several drive sprockets. The transmission sprocket is brand new and I think it is a 19 tooth sprocket. There is also a new 20 or 21 tooth sprocket, but i'm not sure which one it is. I have taken pictures of everything included with this project. There are a lot of extra parts and hardware, including another front end assembly that was on the motorcycle when I got it. Everything I have for this motorcycle project, including some manuals and a complete engine rebuild DVD, will go with this bike. I do not have a gas tank, seat, exhaust, and several other miscellaneous parts for this project, but I see them listed on Ebay all the time. Actually, just about every part you need to finish this project can be found on Ebay or online. I have ordered a lot of the new parts, including parts that I thought would be hard to find, from dealers in the usa. There are dealers that specialize in British motorcycles that will have everything you need to finish this bike. Note-- The only thing I have found that will need attention, is on the engine case where the clutch chain tensioner goes. The adjuster bolt hole has been welded over and will probably need to be drilled out and taped to install the tensioner bolt. It doesn't look too difficult to drill and tap. Everything else on the engine looks great and I haven't found any broken fins or cracks anywhere. I have taken several pictures of everything included. If it isn't in the pictures, I don't have it. I know the pictures are a little blurry, but I had to take them with my cell phone camera. Please feel free to ask questions. I dont know how I would be able to ship this, because of the amount of parts included. It would probably be best for you to make arrangements to pick it up, and I may be able to load everything up and meet you within a reasonable distance, up to 80 miles or so, from my house. Thanks for looking.
