1988 Suburan The good - former Texas truck, very little rust on body. Starts and Runs well, everything works except the gas gauge. Motor, Trans and 4X4 all work good. I purchased this truck in November 2010 from a local dealership,and used it for hunting season. I've logged about a thousand miles on this truck, both in the woods and on the highway. Back window is hand crank type that also works very well. The hit on the back bumper is on the bumper only and does not affect the tailgate or hitch function. The bad - stalls occassionally when running at highway speeds, especially after refueling when it has a full tank. Not sure what the issue is, truck runs great at all times at low speeds on local roads and in the woods. The truck does restart immediately and will continue to run without a problem, but needless to say, the need to pull over and restart on highway can be a concern for some people. The truck gets 6 MPG on the highway at 65 MPH - so the driveline is in need of rebuild. Check Engine and Check Brake lights are both on intermittently. There is no warranty expressed or implied with this truck. You are welcome to come look at it and test drive before buying, contact me for an appointment. The truck can stay here for 2 weeks after the completion of the auction, and then it has to go. I have a new project truck coming in and I want this out of my way.
