I’m relisting my 1966 el Camino due to dead beet bidder and "bot" bidder. Power disc brakes and power steering, this is an original 327, ac, disc brake truck . It’s powered by a rebuilt 327 which is .040 over with flat top hypereutectic pistons and cleveite bearings, Melling high volume oil pump with an all steel drive shaft, GM performance dual pattern cam from their 290hp 350, makes great power and actually gets decent mileage about 12-17 if you keep your foot out of it. Topped with a Edelbrock dual plane performer intake and brand new Edelbrock 600 cfm square bore carb. A new HEI distributor. Has a brand new not rebuilt water pump and steering pump and lines. Also has a brand new all aluminum 3 row radiator. A set of 1 5/8” primary full length headers wich are hooked to a full mandrel bent 2 ½” exhaust with a pair of 40 series Flowmasters that dump just in front of the rear end. Has a stock rebuilt th400 trans and converter with a TCI pan and filter. Now for the really cool stuff, the suspension is 100% new/rebuilt a arms rebushed with Energy Suspension black poly bushings with Edelbrock shocks, Edelbrock solid tie rod adjuster sleeves and all new ball joints, idler arm and tie rods also installed Eibach 1” drop springs front and rear and just installed Hotchkis sway bars front and rear 1 3/8” front and 1” rear. The rear suspension has also been rebushed with Energy Suspension black poly bushings and Edelbrock shocks. The front spindles are the original disc brake spindles with all new bearings, rotors, calipers, pads, soft lines, hardware and lug nuts. The rear end has been re sealed with new axle bearings, brake drums, shoes, hardware kit, wheels cylinders, soft brake line and hard lines. All parts have less than 3,000 miles on them. There is no cancer anywhere on this truck. Comes with another tailgate which is in near perfect condition, I haven’t put on because I have been using this as a work truck and didn’t want to mess it up. Also comes with new door seals, whole extra set of bed stainless and an old camper shell that is in great shape and makes it look like a 2 door wagon, does need a seal kit. Now for the “bad” parts, it has no carpet or door panels, the driver side front fender and door need patch panels from some kind of a fender bender. The rear window is cracked and need replacing, I have been driving with it like that since I owned it cops don’t notice and it does not go through your line of sight.
