Vehicle Detail

This car has been repainted white, and is all together from the brass carriage lamps, brass head lamps, Brass horn, carriage top, black seat, gauges, flower vase, side canister, to the steering wheel. The odometer is broken and the miles are tmu but around 3000 since it was restored. This is a true 1913 Model T Runabout Roadster and is NOT a kit car by any means. The owner of this beautiful car passed away and from 1913 to 2011 is is uncertain of the past history of the car if it was a one family owned and past down for generations or if he was a Model T collector. The owner did a very nice job on owning this car and how he was able to keep it in it's current condition. The car does have a front crank and also an electric start, and a aftermarket stop (Brake light) in the rear which is rare for the age of the car. On Jan-10-11 at 11:27:55 PST, seller added the following information: On Jan-11-11 at 15:24:56 PST, seller added the following information: Update: This is an Estate sale vehicle, I am not the owner of the car, I am the seller for the estate vehicle. This is a 1913 Ford Model T Runabout roadster, was bought back in 1966 somewhere in Pennsyvania in original condition, black paint, engine, transmission, body, headlights, ect. The car over the years from the same buyer from 1966, did a complete restoration in 1986, painted the car white, running boards black, had it pinstriped, replaced the rims with 1926-1927 (4) Ford Steel spoke wheels. The car was sold in the mid 1990's to the current owner, who has since passed away. Around 2001, the original engine was replaced with a professionaly rebuilt, new style Ford flathead that had electric start for the current owner who didn't want to crank it to start it everytime. The original engine and wooden rims and tires are missing, the Hogshead has also been changed for the engine with electric start. The car is also a Pre-assembly line car, the floors are wood, the odometer reads 11.3 miles, which I found out that has not worked in many years and since the restoration and numerous Model T runs by the current owner, it has somewhere around 3,000 miles on it. The Model T has a transferable Registration, which will be signed over to the winning bidder. The car has been in storage for over 3 years and has been off the road since. To be fair to all that are watching and bidding on the auction, the reserve price will not disclosed. All past bids on this car have expired and are excluded. I will help in any way in meeting with a trucking company to have the car ready for shipping. For those out of state that are interested in the car and would like to pick it up in the spring, we can store it til then, Only once the car is paid for in full at the end of the auction first, along with the monthly storage fees as well til the time of picking up. We reserve the right to end the auction without notice at anytime. I have more photos of the car and can send them to your email account and not through Ebay. Any questions, I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible.
