This diesel New Beetle has been upgraded with a Greasecar system to burn straight vegetable oil and has been using this system for over 80,000 miles. I no longer drive long distances so I don't need the fuel savings anymore. There is a lot of information on the Greasecar.com website. Any questions about the fuel system can be answered there, or I can do my best to respond. The car has been well maintained with timely oil changes and timing belt replacement. The fuel injector pump has been replaced along with the intake manifold and turbo charger and waste gate. There are other parts recently changed too, like the radio antenna, headlight, alternator, and normal tires and brakes. Now tires are worn and it needs two new front tires, brakes are new. There are minor blemishes in the paint with a few door dents. I believe this unique car will give you good service and will last for many more grease miles! I once drove all day covering over 650 miles and used about ONE QUART of Diesel oil, the rest being free fuel miles using SVO. The automatic transmission was rebuilt last month, December, by a shop in Denver PA. There is a one year from that date warranty on the transmission. The repair was 2500 dollars and I trust the technician fully. The transmission works very very well now. My reserve price is 5500.Happy bidding!
