Up for sale is my uncle's 1946-49 (unsure of the specific year) Chevrolet truck. I don't really have any real information about this truck as my uncle who owned it passed away in December. His wife is trying to clean out some items that she cannot ever restore. It was always my uncle's intention to restore this truck but he never was able to. As a kid, we all enjoyed the times that he would let us drive it but that was over 35 years ago. We all called the truck the catfish head truck. I was told by my aunt that the truck was an Army supply delivery truck and was always told by my uncle that everyone always tried to buy the truck because it was supposed to have some kind of special carburator. I cannot verify this. There are only a few pictures and these were taken today in 30 degree weather. I would've liked to have cleaned it up some but due to the inclement weather, was not able to. I have added more pictures and am trying to be as honest as I can. There are rusted through areas and I hope the pictures will show this. I do know that these trucks are highly desirable and have had tons of phone calls. Hopefully the pictures will answer any questions due to the fact that the vehicle is not close to where I live. I still welcome any phone calls or questions you may have. I had a question about the VIN tag. I still did not find it in the areas where I felt I should. Also, someone asked what was the distance between the front and rear wheels. It is approximately 13 f 3 in.
