this is a 1978 Mercedes Benz 300D Limo the car runs and drives great it is a manuel 4 speed and shifts well. the interior of the car is in good shape no rips or tears in the seats and are very clean with no major stains. dash is ok with a few cracks but i have a replacement dash that comes with car just never got a chance to put in. the body on the car is in fair shape has a dent in the driverside rear fender that can be seen in the pictures a dent guy could remove this pretty easy. also on the trunk there is a small dent that can be seen in the pictures. a small rust spot behind rear window and some trim pieces need to be reattached. paint is ok it looks to me that somebody had the car painted. i just put some new tie rods and bushings up front also some suspension components. bought the car as a project but must move for work and cant take it with me with a little work this could be a nice carOn Jan-14-11 at 11:22:33 PST, seller added the following information: i called mercedes benz classic overview and they will be sending me a data card for this vehicle from germany that will list information about the car when it was built. they told me they would have this to me by tuesday or wed of next week sorry i could not have sooner
