Hello, Up for auction is my 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra. The car currently has 57,000 easy miles and is in cherry condition as pictured. The car has been babied its entire life, and has been entered in many car shows around the Bay Area. Looking at the interior/exterior, it looks as if the car is brand new with the exception of a few minor scratches. All the work has been professionally done at Mustang Ranch here in Santa Clara, and nothing was ignored in terms of performance and street appeal. The reason why I am selling is because the timing chain recently broke and bent some valves in the heads. Given my current situation, I cannot afford to put the necessary finances in the car to get it back on the road anytime soon. The car is NOT RUNNING!! Before the timing chain broke, the car ran absolutely flawlessly. The transmission shifted with ease, and the engine had plenty more power than needed. All mechanical features function properly including power door locks, windows, trunk, AC, heater etc. This will be the perfect car for someone who is looking to either build the motor, or rebuild it to it's normal specs. The car was dyno'd at Mustang Ranch which produced a whopping 434 rwhp and 382 ft pounds of torque on a SREETABLE tune! The tires have less than 1,000 miles on them, and the chrome wheels are next to perfect. Below are a list of mods done to the car. I have over $9,000 in receipts, proving that this car has been meticulously taken care of. The car comes with all original paper work including the original window sticker off the lot, SVT manual, and its certificate of authenticity.
